Jose LlauroCaptivating, intense and powerful is how audiences describe NWB´s signature sound.
A brief phone call back on May, 2006 started it all; Marcelo and Jose, formerly co-adventurers in their teenage band Mongoaurelio, decided to refresh their long time commitment to Rock and sum up efforts to form NOWAYBACK. Mercedes and Mariano joined later in 2009, raising the standard with their formal musical training and vast expertise.
During the first years, Buenos Aires based NowaybacK had several female singers, most notably Jessica Morgan Righthand, a student from Harvard who was doing an internship in Buenos Aires. Originally a jazz singer, Jessica developed her hard-rock side with ease,  blending her unique style into the band´s heavier realm.
Back in that day, NWB´s sound was different from its current heavy riff based, classical-influenced sound, but evolution was certainly taking place.
When Jessica returned to the US to pursue her studies, the singer spot in the band was vacant, and Marcelo and Jose auditioned several candidates. But it wasn´t until Marcelo met Mariano at the Karate Dojo Samurai (they are both seasoned karatekas) that the band would find its balanced mixed of heavy rock and classical inspired signature sound.
Introduced by Mariano, a jaw-dropping Mercedes auditioned for the band at Marcelo´s home studio, and just a minute into her performance everybody  knew the search for a new singer was over. Driven by Mariano´s exquisite piano playing, they were both expressive, stylish and sophisticated without losing power. As Marcelo recalls: "I knew that very moment that from then on we would be able to explore new musical territory, and to do so with a great deal of proffesionalism."
Year 2012 finds the band stronger than ever, excited about their new CD, live performances and collaboration projects.
